Day 3

This morning was um... interesting. The laxative tea definitely works. Thankfully i didn't have any accidents in my sleep, but setting the alarm 30 min early was a very good idea. Laying in bed in the morning I had forgotten I had even drank a laxative tea, but you better bet as soon as I stood up I remembered! I spent this morning standing up sitting down, standing up, sitting down; and I never left the bathroom. However as soon as I was done I felt great!

Thankfully what they say is true. Today was so much easier. I wasn't craving food all day. Now i'm not going to lie, the mention or smell of food made my mouth water, but it was not that horrible unbearable hunger. Although when I got home the hunger hit. I pushed through and thankfully it passed.

I managed to work out at lunch again. 30 min on the elliptical. But the battle with the scale was lost... half a pound! WHAT!!! I'm so freaking hungry and all I've lost is half a pound... I seriously have GOT to get over my addiction to the scale! I actually weighted myself like 6 times today; maybe more! I'm not going to get down, I'm going to keep on keeping on! Laxative tea hear I come!

Day 2

Still hungry!!! Ok so when they say if you can get past the first 2 days they better not be kidding. I am so hungry! My fiancĂ© left to run an errand and all I could think about was how much food I could eat while he was gone. Instead I decided on literally sitting on my couch and pretending to chew invisible food and thinking about how good it would taste. Sad I know.

So I was really worried about my energy and while I'm really worn out, I think that is more to do with work than this diet b.c I am not really that physically exhausted just mentally. So energy is ok, plus i'm worked out for 45 min at lunch. Today I did p90x ab ripper X, and 20 min on the elliptical. So I would have to say that you do get the calories you need.

I weighed myself tonight. No change :( I'm toying with the idea of kicking my habit and not weighing myself again until the 10 days are over. Although I weigh myself every time I walk by a scale; its most deff. an addiction. Other than the fact that I would now have to not only fight the urge to eat I would have to fight the urge to get on a scale I still have to wonder if it would be a good idea. On the one hand not getting on the scale and not seeing those numbers stay the exact same would keep me from getting discouraged. However; getting on a scale and seeing the numbers go down motivates the hell out of me. So I'm pondering this thought. I think I am going to go with a tentative no for weighing myself. However; when inevitably I get on the scale tomorrow we will reevaluate.

So this morning I completely forgot about the warm saltwater guzzle (Surprise, I don't really function in the morning). I made my drink and this time added the pepper in a little baggy on the side and added as I made drinks throughout the day. I have to admit I'm not drinking as many as I should. Those little buggers are just so freaking sweet. I did however change up the measurements to help a little. I did 60 oz water, 3 lemons, and 8 tbs maple syrup and 4 tbs agave. Then pepper on the side and added to each drink. Its not as many calories as I'm supposed to have but its better than nothing.

Ok so last night I completely forgot about my laxative tea. I don't know if it was the pounding headache or the  insane need to eat something; ether way I forgot it. So tonight I am making it. It says to follow directions specifically. After covering and letting seep for 15 min its time to take a taste. I don't know why but the bag feels slimy. I'm betting this is going to taste HORRIBLE! Ok drinking now....WOW! I am super impressed! This stuff actually tastes really really good! I didn't have to add anything to it and its amazing! Well finally one new amazing discovery will come out of this. I have found a new tasty tea.

Well it makes me nervous to drink laxative tea and then go to bed. It seems like thats a bad idea. But the tea box says to drink before bed and so does the diet. I think I'll set my alarm 30 min early just in case. Well i'm off to bed wish me luck... NIGHT!

Day 1

Day 1 sucks! So hungry. Today I literally thought I was going to eat my hand off! Could barely choke down the salt water in the morning. Turns out if your going to make the drink for the whole day you can't just multiply the ingredients.  The pepper just gets spicier the longer it sits in the drink. By the end of the day it was undrinkable. Also unless you have a serious sweet tooth this drink is way too sweet. I'm going to go with a different approach for day 2. No uncontrollable bathroom visits which is a plus! However I did have a headache the size of the Grand Canyon. 3 ibuprofen did the trick and I was off to bed at 9:00 and after one episode of Sex and the City was out by 9:30.

Lemonade Diet

OK so this is what I'm trying first. I get the idea from this fabulous girl at work. Then I researched then I bought the ingredients. There are a couple of reasons why I ultimately decided on this one.
Reasons:
1) The girl at work is a health junkie. However she is a real world health junkie. Someone who is too much I just can't listen too. I'm sorry but if your to much my brain is going to shut down. So if she was pro lemonade diet I game to give it a look.

2) They aren't asking you to buy anything. I don't know why but if someone is asking me to buy a bunch of magic pills and such I question it. Does it really work or do they just want to make some money off of a chunky girl. I'm an easy target. I've been skinny so I know how amazing it is, so my desire to get there again is through the roof. Also I'm getting married! Dieters are easy targets, wedding dieter are even easier. The lemonade Diet just gives you the information (you do have to go buy ingredients but from no specific brand or store).

3) When buying the ingredients I asked the lady for grade B maple syrup. The first words out of  her mouth were, "Are you going on the Lemonade Diet?" I instantly knew this is ether going to be really good or really bad. So I inquired more. She said that personally she had never done it, but that she used to work at Whole Foods and everyone that had done it LOVED it. Its a 10 day body cleanse but that one guy she knew that used to come in a lot felt so great he stayed on it for 3 months. Awesome! But that she hasn't heard a bad thing yet. Although she did tell me that the fist 2 days were hard, and to push through b.c it would get better.

Ok so now I have a ton of confidence in this plan. Its fairly simply just google it. I'll still give you all the info so you don't have to research as much as I did. There are 3 different things that have to be done. In the morning you drink a salt water concoction. Throughout the day you drink 10-12 glasses of the lemonade. At night before bed drink a cup of Laxative Tea.

Salt Water
1 tsp sea salt (has to be sea salt)
1 liter water

Lemonade
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon (CAN NOT USE LEMON FROM A BOTTLE)
2 tbsp grade b maple syrup (has to be grade b, not just waffle syrup)
1/10 tsp. powdered cayenne pepper (often bottle say's finely ground)
10 oz. distilled water

Laxative Tea
Can use any type of caffeine free laxative tea (it also said you could use mint or green tea, but has to be caffeine free)

Starting out!

Ok this is where I am right now.
Weight: 200.7 lb
Waist: 44.75"
Hips: 44.5"
Bust: 44"
Arms: 13.33"
Thighs: 26.12"

Ok these are my current measurements. Way less than desirable. Thats ok though I am determined that I can still do a total body makeover before my wedding.

I'm starting out my weight loss program with a body cleanse. I've never done one before but I from everything I've read and heard thats the way to start out a diet! Lemonade Diet here I come!
